Twilight's burning the midnight oil again.

I wasn't happy entirely happy with how my first Twilight drawing came out (it was also my first pony pic), so I decided to have another go at it. I'm MUCH more pleased with the results this time around.

I actually intended this to be a quick drawing. Everything was going fine until I realized that I haven't done much in the way of magic effects... so I had to do some trial and error... so much for a quick drawing. :)

I tried softening the edges of the shading instead of using my usual solid lines. I still haven't decided if I like it this way or if I should stick to my usual. Well, here's to trying something new.

I like how You made the magic effects. I do think these sparkles look cooler (by a certain percent) or at least fit the pic better than the show's wibble-wobble aura things.

It's not the same style as the show, but I agree that this one looks better than your original Twilight pic. I personally find it a bit challenging to make the show-style look good.

Great work on this! You really capture the feeling and atmosphere. :D
